Communication via WhatsApp

We use WhatsApp for communication with customers and other third parties. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Communication is encrypted end-to-end. However, WhatsApp does gain access to metadata created during the communication process (sender, recipient, and time). We use the WhatsApp Business version and have set up a contract for data processing with WhatsApp. Data is used solely for communication purposes and is not shared with third parties.
